Cash: What you can do

• Check the security features on all banknotes that you receive, especially notes of 100, 200 and 500 euros
• Check 1 or 2 euro coins to make sure they are authentic euro coins and not Turkish Lira coins, which are very similar.
• Visit the website of the European Central Bank for instructions what to look out for.
